Parameswara was never a muslim!

Filed under: interesting stuff — nesh @ 2:39 pm

I received a sms yesterday saying that Parameswara never embraced Islam during his lifetime. He lived and died as a Hindu according to Malacca International Islamic College of Technology president Prof Emeritus Datuk Mohd Yusoff Hashim. He also says that it was Parameswara’s son Megat Iskandar Shah who actually became Islam. There was an article about Malacca’s history on nst and parameswara’s religion issue was just a small portion of it but by far the most significant one in my opinion.Try checking on the article by going to nst online. You might be interested to know more.

Appropriate size is essential for sharing!!

A lot of us face problems when it comes to file sharing. This is mainly because of the size of the files we intend to share are large and so we face these problems constantly. It is understandable that these files are big considering the fact that technology these days are flying high. When files are big, they become more annoying to send because it takes such a long time to send and many other problems pops up.

But now with a great new web based sharing system, file sharing has become so easy and efficient. This is the link to the site:
online file sharing

The site is called Driveway file sharing 2.0. Size isnt a problem anymore with driveway because this file sharing system can send files up to 500 mb which is amazingly awesome.Even better,u can send it with a parkit link which allows the person u send a particular file to download it directly.Driveway has seriously made so simple for us and the best part of driveway is that ‘edit widgets’ can be used for shares that u dont want to be downloaded to ur dekstop.U can just edit it online save it and just e-mail it back on the spot. How cool is that???

Even if driveway has all this cool functions, the traditional read only isnt forgotten. This ensures a particular file is not edited in any ways. Most of the E-mail systems now such as g-mail have limits in file sizes (typically 10-20 mb etc…) With the new ‘parkit’ links offered by driveway this problem is no longer considered a problem as it can accept files up to 500 mb.Parkit links can also be used in blogs.

This seems to be a wonderful system which for me is a must use…so go ahead and use it!!

The pow seller!

Filed under: General — nesh @ 12:04 pm

The other day when my physics teacher was “teaching” in class he brought up his usual “grandfather story” as he would like to call it which means stories which just pops out of his mind with no reason or purpose.Who could blame the guy? He’s so experienced in life!
I’m a physics teacher, dont play play with me” is one of his trade mark phrase.

As always he started his story and i didn’t understand a word he was saying bcoz i was to busy making paper sampan behind. Then the magic word came….POW!!! Thats one of my all time favourite food man!
Thats when i started paying attention to his story…it went something like this…

“Last time ah there was man here….he n his wife go singapore when their son very very young….the man go there sell pow and the wife clean houses……very poor family….but ah the son very very hardworking one….always study study only….when he grow up ah he entered a very chun university in singapore itself…n then ah he slowly enter politics….now he is a orang besar  in singapore ministry….in the upcoming elections if he wins he’ll become singapores number two man me….so u all better study hard!!”

My physics teacher is a very concerned man.He really takes our future seriously and constantly reminds us of the importance of doing well in exams and getting into public universities. His “POW” story really got me thinking…People last time really know how to make something out of nothing…they all come from a poor background and still manage to be  established when they reach adulthood. Is it going to be the complete opposite for our generation?  We’re living a considerably comfortable life now….are we going to fail in our adulthood? If u ask me u rather not take the risk and start working for it now…

“while most people dream success, those who succeed wake up and work for it”

Thats a famous quote that all of us should follow at all times…

Filed under: General, sponsored posts — nesh @ 2:43 pm

Earlier this year when Mr.Andrew was constantly talking about blogging and stuff related to it i was getting interested gradually. Finally he asked me whether i wanted to have my own blog and so i agreed and today i have my very own blog. Thanks to Mr.Andrew i managed to learn quite a few things about blogging and the internet.I always think to myself how did Andrew find out all these stuff by himself? I struggled to learn even with his help but he did well in teaching me.This shows his far more superior capabilities on the net compared to me.

Many people with good internet knowledge unfortunately use them for a negative cause but Mr.Andrew uses them to develope his knowledge and financial stability. He has an online store business and also owns a blogging domain called blogrox.net which im using. He handles 13 blogs at once and still manages to keep his blog a classy one.He also earns a promising amount of money out of his online businesses. You guys can have a look at his blog by clicking on this link:

I made some money!!

After months of anticipation i finally made my money through my blog.At the moment i’ve made 25 usd which is quite a convincing amount of money for a beginner. The most amazing thing is that i actually made 5 usd by pay per post direct. When i first displayed the ppp direct icon on my site,i was kinda sceptical anyone would ever hire me considering the fact that im still new and unestablished. Now its proven that some big timers are always willing to give new comers like me eye-opening oppurtunities.

Another twenty came from my first sponsored “Nothing like ppp” which amazingly offered 20 usd per post. Most of my friends only received 10 usd for their first posts. When u come to think of it,i’ve made my first few bucks in an almost impossible circumstance.

I hope my money making spree will continue for a long long time to come. At least when i earn through my blog i can say it is MY money.

Neways i wouldn’t have known how to do any of this stuff if it wasnt for my friend Andrew. He’s someone of a master for me.Take a look at his blog:

I got chosen for ns!

Yesterday i found out that i got chosen for national service and i am not liking it….at all! I desperately needed a new phone with cool functions and so i was planing to work after spm to earn some money for the phone.Yesterday when i found out i was chosen , i was undergoing all kinds of negative emotions. At one stage i even thought of creating a gimmick that i was dead so that i would’nt have to go to ns. Yeah…it was extremely stupid!

But it isnt entirely my fault those kind of irrelevant thoughts crossed my mind.I really wanted a new phone and i’ve heard many things about ns and none of them were convincing. The only thing that is good out this whole scenario is that i aint as disappointed as i thought i would be if i was to be chosen.

Now that i know i am chosen, many different questions are popping out in my crowded head.

Ques 1: will i get xmas and new year leaves?

Ques 2:what are the activities like?

Ques 3:how much will i be paid?

Ques4:what time do i have to wake up when im there?

Ques 5:which badge will i be in?

These are the various questions which remains a mystery!!!

If anyone could help me answer these questions i would appreciate it…I need to know what to expect!

I wish i could go back in time!

SPM trials is nearing and im far from prepared. So many subjects to cover yet so less time. Extra effort is definitely conducive for a satisfactory results but effort is something that im a million miles away from. This tight situation makes me wana go back in time with the same knowledge i possess now.Im sure many of us think the same when times like this come around.I must admit im feeling a little bit dubious over my own ability at the moment because im unable to capture most of the things my teachers are conveying to me.My parents are expecting me to gratify them with good results but at the rate that im moving,it seems to be a tough task but im still confident i can do it no matter what.

The idea of a time machine that takes me back in time with the same knowledge i have now acts as a convincer when im feeling depressed.Wouldn’t it be great if that machine really exists? I could actually go back in time with knowledge I already have and learn the same things again. My understanding on the particular subject would be immense! I could even be the top student…NICE!

time_machine.png

When i come to think of it,a time machine could be redundant if i just do it the old fashoin way….STUDY!! Studyin is something that i wouldnt do volunterily but its something that i have to do in order to reach the top!
